The program aims to teach the techniques of the defensive driver including how to:
- Influence and challenge participants to modify their behind the wheel behaviors and attitudes so they will choose to drive safely, responsibly, and lawfully.
- Provide participants with new, correct, or reinforced knowledge, skills, and techniques to avoid collisions and violations.
